About Carmen Banich
Carmen is an Associate specialising in professional indemnity and commercial disputes, with experience acting for both insured and private clients.
She defends claims brought against a wide range of professionals, including Solicitors, Barristers, Architects and Surveyors. Carmen also brings expertise in civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution, having managed a range of complex disputes from initial instruction through to trial.
Carmen was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2021, following her graduation from the University of Queensland where she earned a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts.
Prior to joining Caytons, Carmen practised for over four years in Australia as a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes team of a leading national law firm.
