Elise joined the legal team at Caytons in 2018.   Elise is a lawyer who specialises in professional indemnity, insurance coverage and construction disputes. 

Elise defends claims made against a wide range of professionals including those against Architects, Surveyors, Engineers, Solicitors, Design and Build Contractors, and Insurance Brokers. She also has experience in drafting various policy wordings, recovery action claims and advising on policy coverage disputes, appointments, collateral warranties and building contracts. 

Before converting to law, Elise obtained a first-class honours degree in Psychology. She went on to obtain Distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course. Elise’s background in psychology provides her with a unique perspective understanding clients’ needs and approaching matters with clarity and precision.
